For reducing the amount of water consumed, supply of water to the cutting head of a cutting machine shall be given free only if different operating conditions are simultaneously occurring. The proposed process contemplates to provide the possibility to supply water to the cutting head only with the rotational movement of the cutting head being switched-on and to give free the water supply only if simultaneously at least one further operating condition such as, for example, a movement of the cutting arm or a movement of the machine is occurring. The apparatus for performing this process contemplates a device for switching-in a water pump, said device being coupled with a device for switching-in the rotational drive of the cutting head. For this purpose, a series of control pistons 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are arranged within a common cylinder 1, the working spaces of each individual control piston being connected via conduits 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 with the working spaces of the associated hydraulic aggregates for the movement of the cutting arm and, respectively, the machine. The control pistons 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are coupled one with the other in direction of the pressure supplied and loaded in opposite direction to this direction by a spring 8. Shifting movement of one of the control pistons 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, which control pistons can be shifted independently one from the other, thus, together with the water pump being switched on, effects release of supply of water to the cutting head (FIG. 1).

The invention relates to the mining industry, namely to devices for regulating the supply of water to the cutting head of the iron-cutting machine.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the water consumption during operation of the cutting machine.
FIG. 1 shows a device for adjusting the supply of water to the notch head of the cutting machine, a cross-section; in fig. 2 - water shut-off valve with hydraulic piston, cross section.
The device for regulating the supply of water to the notching head of the cutting machine comprises a cylindrical body 1 with a longitudinal hole 2 under the water distribution mechanism formed from a set of sequentially arranged spools in the form of distribution pistons 3-6. The distribution pistons are interconnected by stops 7 and are pressed to these stops by a spring 8. Used working chambers 9-14 of these pistons are connected to hydraulic pipelines 15-18, which are located in transverse bores 19 and connected to working chambers of various hydraulic units or their pressure pipelines. Each of the pipes 15-18 exits, for example, into the working chamber of a hydraulic cylinder of a cutting machine (not shown), which rotates to the left, right, up and down. 1. DEVICE FOR REGULATING THE WATER SUPPLY TO THE FOREIGN HEAD OF THE HARVESTING MACHINE, including a cylindrical body with a longitudinal hole for the water distribution mechanism with a spring-loaded pusher and a valve, a water supply regulator with a spring-loaded hydraulic piston and a water valve for the water pump for the water pump for the water pump for the water pump the head, the switch of which is connected to the switch for driving the rotation of the notch head, and pipelines, each of which is hydraulically connected to the working polo one of the hydraulic units, characterized in that, in order to reduce water consumption, the casing is made with transverse openings for pipelines, and the water distribution mechanism is formed from a set of spools sequentially located in the longitudinal opening of the casing, equipped with central stops for the interaction of the spools with one another the formation of working chambers located with the possibility of hydraulic connection with pipelines, while the plunger of the water distribution mechanism is located with awn hydraulic interaction with the piston and the water supply controller contacting with extreme spool.
